How It All Started
The Original Blanco Cafe was founded by Alejandro F. San Miguel in 1974. Alejandro was a hard-working man who took on three jobs to provide for his wife and 10 children. His irregular work schedule inspired him to open a restaurant that offered breakfast all day. Dining out was costly for a large family like his, so affordability was an important part of the vision he had for the restaurant. Alejandro dedicated his life to creating a sense of home for all that entered his doors.
Since then, homemade recipes and hard work have been the heart and soul of his business that still flourishes today. Alejandro’s legacy lives on today through his son and grandson, who ensure that the Best Enchiladas, handmade tortillas, and breakfast all day are still served the traditional way. It’s sure to be a dining experience you simply won’t forget. Visit us today and taste the Tex-Mex cuisine that has been a tradition since 1974.
